The villa

Villa Trudis is a beautiful and romantic villa in the geographical heart of Ibiza. With a traditional build yet recently refurbished, it combines charm and modern touches to create a blissful stay in the hillside of this ever-popular island. The views are simply stunning as tall swaying trees, and rolling hills surround you, yet you remain connected to everything you could need and are only a few minutes from the local village.

There are a total of 5 bedrooms at Villa Trudis, spread across two floors, and each is chicly designed with white, cream, and gold, as well as tasteful pops of decoration. Starting with the ground floor, there are two bedrooms with two single beds and a third bedroom with one single bed, with these three rooms sharing a communal bathroom. The final bedroom on the ground floor is the master bedroom, which features a cosy double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs you will find the final bedroom, another double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a terrace providing stunning views of the hills.

The kitchen and dining area have a lovely design, with white walls complimented by wood furnishing and exposed wooden beams. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, oven, coffee machine and toaster. There is also a dishwasher, so cleaning the plates after you eat a delicious meal isn't a problem! You can enjoy your meals inside or al fresco on the outdoor dining table, conveniently located next to a barbeque where you can grill some fish, vegetables, or meats to enjoy as the sun sets in the distance.

Outside, the villa will leave a smile on your face, as the back garden is vast, spacious, eloquently designed and perfectly manicured. The view of Ibiza's rolling hills evokes feelings of peacefulness, only amplified by the Mediterranean feel of the gardens many fruit and olive trees. Paved paths lead you to the interest points, but there are also shaded stretches of grass where you can lay out under trees and read a book.

The large private pool is stunning, with the cool water sure to be a welcome treat in the warm sun of Ibiza. Dry off on one of the many sun loungers around the pool and catch a tan while you're at it. There is a chill-out bed at the end of the pool, perfect for napping in the cool breeze on warm days. The pool and outside area also have incredible coloured night lights, so going for night-time swims under the stars is not only possible - it's a must-do experience!

Villa Trudis is located in the geographical heart of the island, making it perfectly situated to reach everything you wish to do in Ibiza. One of the less known benefits of the island is its easy exploration, as the island is truly small but mighty. Driving from top to bottom would take you only an hour and around 30 minutes to drive from east to west! Furthermore, Villa Trudis is just 15 minutes from the airport, so it won't be long after landing that you can put your suitcase away and your feet up!

When it comes to eating out, you are in for a treat in Ibiza. The island is host to many restaurants serving a range of food, and the cuisine on offer has been globally influenced, so there is always something for you to eat. Try traditional local dishes or stick to something you know you'll love; everything is available here in Ibiza. Villa Trudis is within walking distance to a restaurant, as one is just 2km away from the villa doors - just a 4-minute drive. 3km away is where you will find the local village of Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera will provide you with even more options for restaurants, cafes, and bars. The closest supermarket to Villa Trudis is just 1.5km away, too, so you can easily stock up on snacks or food for the house.

Santa Gertrudis has expanded rapidly in recent years but remains quaint and traditional, and the main square is looked over by a traditional whitewashed fortress church. The plaza here is pedestrian-friendly and adds to the village's welcoming, bustling vibe. There are plenty of little cafes to sit outside of and sip a coffee, just like the locals love to do.

Villa Trudis is just 9km from the capital city of Ibiza, Ibiza Town. Here is just one of the many spots where you will genuinely see Ibiza's nightlife scene that it is known for, as entertainment companies have naturally gravitated towards the larger cities. That's not all this wonderful capital has to offer, though, as it is home to Ses Figueretes and Platja d'en Bossa, just two of Ibiza's incredible white sand beaches with clear sparkling waters.

Consider driving north to the coastline and visiting Puerto de San Miguel. Here you find another incredible warm sand beach where you can go snorkelling to see the many fish, but that's not all. Sign up at the local diving school and learn to go diving to see even more of the ocean's depths. There are also a number of well-regarded restaurants, bars, and shops here, so you can truly make a day out of it - if not a few!
