The villa

Perched in the hills above Kassiopi, Villa Sensya overlooks the Ionian Sea with views extending towards the Albanian mountains. The property is designed to maximise its setting, with large glass panels and sliding doors allowing natural light throughout while framing the surrounding landscape.

The villa has eight bedrooms and can accommodate up to 16 guests. On the ground level, there are five en-suite bedrooms with direct garden access, along with a twin room suitable for children. The lower ground floor features two larger suites, a separate shower, and a seating area. This level also features a cinema room, gym, massage room and an additional kitchen, providing a separate living space if required.

The main living area is open-plan, combining a lounge, kitchen and dining space with a breakfast bar. Doors lead out to spacious terraces with a jacuzzi and a combination of sun and shaded seating areas for outdoor use. The property includes five beautiful outdoor garden areas on different levels, each offering either stunning sea views or lush, rich vegetation. Each garden has its own unique character and design, allowing for privacy on every level of the house. There is also an outdoor cooking area suitable for dining, as well as a separate reading space.

Above the villa, the private pool is positioned to overlook the surrounding hills and includes a poolside bar and W/C. Outdoor facilities include a gas barbecue and bar area. Air conditioning is available throughout.

Corfu is one of the Ionian Islands off the northwest coast of Greece, known for its relatively green landscape compared to other parts of the country. The island has a long history of foreign influence, particularly from Venetian, French, and British rule, which is reflected in its architecture and cultural character. Corfu Town, the island’s capital, features a mix of narrow streets, historic buildings, and fortifications, and is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kassiopi is located on the northeastern coast of Corfu and was originally a small fishing village. It has developed into a modest tourist destination while maintaining elements of its traditional layout. The village centres around a harbour, where there are a number of restaurants, cafés, and moorings for small boats. Above the village are the remains of Kassiopi Castle, a historic site that dates back to the Byzantine period.

The surrounding area includes a number of small beaches and coves, most of which are pebbled rather than sandy. The water is typically clear, and the coastline offers opportunities for swimming and boating. Nearby areas such as Avlaki and Kalamaki provide additional beach options, with relatively open and less densely developed surroundings.
