The villa

Villa Majanicho rises from a landscape shaped by volcanoes and palms, where contemporary architecture meets the raw character of Fuerteventura. Designed to feel open to the elements, the villa is defined by light, wide horizons and quiet surroundings. Its striking white structure appears to hover above the terrain, while large open spaces connect effortlessly with the outdoors. From the rooftop, sweeping 360º views capture the shifting colours of sunrise and the sun setting towards the ocean, creating a setting that feels closely tied to the island’s natural environment.

The villa accommodates up to ten adults with three king bedrooms and two twin rooms, set across generous living spaces that extend across 2,211 m² indoors and 2,247 m² outdoors. The exterior of this villa is a real highlight, with the stunning heated private pool that offers views across the island, sun loungers, multiple terraces and seating areas, and an outdoor dining area with barbecue for long days and evenings spent outside. 

Set within the dramatic landscapes of northern Fuerteventura, Villa Majanicho offers uninterrupted views across the island’s volcanic terrain and coastline. The surrounding area is defined by open horizons and the meeting point of land and sea, placing guests within easy reach of the island’s natural scenery while enjoying a sense of space and privacy.

Located in the municipality of La Oliva in northern Fuerteventura, Villa Majanicho sits within walking distance of the village of Lajares (about 20 minutes), a small and characterful community shaped by the island’s volcanic landscape. Known for its laid - back atmosphere, Lajares blends traditional Canarian life with a growing selection of cafés, bakeries and independent eateries. Surrounded by open countryside and volcanic formations, the village has become a popular base for exploring the island’s northern region while maintaining a relaxed, local feel.

The area is also known for its outdoor experiences and dramatic scenery. Close to the village, visitors can explore the volcanic surroundings of Calderón Hondo, one of Fuerteventura’s most recognisable volcanic cones. Camel riding excursions are available, offering guided journeys across the island’s desert - like terrain and providing a distinctive way to experience the landscapes that define this part of the island.

Within around 15 minutes drive, the coastline reveals wide Atlantic beaches where golden sand meets the open ocean. These stretches of shoreline provide plenty of space for long walks, time by the water and opportunities to take in the island’s coastal scenery.

The setting of Villa Majanicho offers a balance of natural landscapes, local village life and easy access to the sea, placing guests in an ideal position to explore the northern side of Fuerteventura while enjoying a quieter base away from the island’s busier resort areas.
