The villa

Villa Lilijana sits in the small fishing village of Sumartin on the eastern coast of Brač, a charming spot facing Makarska on the mainland. This laid-back resort is loved for its beautiful beaches and coves, including Rasotica, Zukovik and Radovnja, as well as its historic church, bell tower and Franciscan monastery. Local restaurants serve fresh fish, olive oil, cheese and regional wines, while the island itself offers much to explore, from picturesque villages to the famous Zlatni Rat beach at Bol, one of the most iconic stretches of coastline in Croatia.

Built from traditional Croatian stone and just 100 metres from the sea, Villa Lilijana is full of character and warmth. The villa sleeps up to seven guests across four bedrooms, with an additional sofa bed in the master bedroom. Its unique layout spans multiple levels, with a ground-floor living and dining area, a first-floor lounge with sea views and three bedrooms, and a further bedroom on the upper level. Interiors combine vintage charm with simple modern touches, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout.

Outside, the tiered garden and terrace offer plenty of space to unwind. A private swimming pool, sun deck and Mediterranean planting are complemented by an alfresco dining area with barbecue, making it a lovely setting for both daytime relaxation and evenings under the stars.

Villa Lilijana enjoys a wonderful location just moments from the sea in the charming village of Sumartin, a wonderful spot on the eastern coast of Brač. With its crystal-clear waters, small beaches and welcoming atmosphere, the village is perfect for relaxed days by the coast. You can explore its historic church and Franciscan monastery, dine on fresh seafood in local restaurants or experience traditional summer festivities such as the Lady of the Angels celebration in August. Everything you need is close by, making it an easy and authentic base for your stay.

A visit to Bol is a must, home to the famous Zlatni Rat beach, one of Croatia’s most iconic coastal spots.
