The bright, bold patterns and colour schemes continue throughout the rest of the villa. Traditional tiles make the bathrooms feel like authentic spaces in which to start or end the day with a refreshing shower. Each bedroom has its own distinct personality, with most having a private bathroom.

Matching Villa Infinito's impressive interior are its expansive outside grounds. Enjoy a quick session in the poolside indoor gym and then cool off with a swim in the pool. And as well as there being a terrace for outdoor meals, there's also a romantic lounge shaded by a vine-covered pergola that overlooks the nature reserve. The views are especially spellbinding as the sun begins to set and lights illuminate the space around you. Beyond the gardens, you'll reach the reserve in mere minutes. And you can hike to the coast in about an hour - or in just 10 minutes by car. Numerous beaches, such as Spiaggia di Cittadella , await with their rugged stretches on which to relax after swimming in the sea.

Vendicari Nature Reserve is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, so it's no surprise that hiking and birdwatching are among the most-popular activities. Beaches and rocky coves line the coast for long walks where you will come across evocative historic remains, such as a 15th-century tower and old fishermen's houses.

The city of Noto with its spectacular Baroque architecture is around a 20-minute drive from the villa, with smaller historic towns such as Pachino even nearer.

Villa Infinito is in a wonderfully privileged position, with the Vendicari Nature Reserve just moments away. The reserve features over 1,500 hectares of wild and varied landscapes. Home to wildlife including pelicans, flamingos and egrets, these atmospheric marshes are a birdwatcher's paradise. You're also likely to come across fascinating archaeological sites and remains of old structures as you explore the reserve.

Over 13km of rocky coastline means plenty of scenic hikes and beaches to stop and relax on. These secluded beaches will never be crowded, so you can swim and snorkel while appreciating the peaceful sights and sounds of nature. One of the nearest beaches to the villa is Spiaggia di Cittadella. You could drive there in 10 minutes or hike from your doorstep and reach it in around an hour.

The elegant town Pachino is a short drive away and is a great place to soak up centuries of history. Its buzzing central piazza is where many 18th-century buildings can be admired. Pachino has several ancient sites to visit; including a Greek temple and Roman village.

Around a 20-minute drive from the villa is UNESCO-protected Noto. This city is famous for the number of Baroque buildings it boasts, such as the 18th-century Noto Cathedral. There are also stunning palaces and churches to tick off your sightseeing list. Corso Vittorio Emanuele is one of the city's most-popular streets with its abundance of shops, restaurants, cafes and gelaterias. At one end you'll find the impressive 19th-century gateway into the city called Porta Reale.
