The villa

Villa Ilex is a stylish six-bedroom retreat set against the dramatic mountain backdrop of the Dalmatian hinterland. Arranged over three levels, and designed with comfort and sociable living in mind, the villa accommodates up to twelve guests and offers generous space for families or groups. Inside, both the ground floor and first ground floor offer a fully equipped kitchen with a spacious living and dining area. Three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with the remaining three found, all of which have sylis hen-suite bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors and multiple terraces ensure natural light and far-reaching views throughout. Outside, highlights include a private pool surrounded by loungers, parasols, and a covered dining area with a high-quality barbecue - perfect for long, relaxed meals with a view. For tennis enthusiasts, an artificial grass tennis court provides further entertainment. Children are well catered for, with a play area featuring a wooden playhouse, slide and basketball net. The lower ground floor games room includes table football, table tennis, darts, a pool table, PlayStation and fitness equipment. With local amenities just a short drive away, and the cultural sights and beaches of Split within 30 minutes’ drive, Villa Ilex offers a well-rounded base for a Dalmatian escape.

Just a 20‑minute drive from Split, Villa Ilex offers easy access to one of Croatia’s most captivating coastal cities. Split is a vibrant mix of ancient and modern, home to the UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace, Saint Domnius’ Cathedral, and a lively waterfront lined with cafés, markets, and street performers. Further on, the medieval town of Trogir, with its stone alleys and Venetian architecture, is also worth a visit. For nature lovers and active travellers, Marjan Forest Park provides scenic trails for walking, jogging, or cycling through pine woods with breathtaking sea views. Father afield, a 40 minute drive brings you to the stunning Krka National Park, where waterfalls, wooden boardwalks, and swimming spots create a memorable day out.
