The villa

Villa Domizzia is a contemporary five - bedroom villa set in a peaceful, slightly elevated position near Marsala in western Sicily. Villa Domizzia enjoys a peaceful setting near Marsala in western Sicily, close to the Stagnone Lagoon and its distinctive salt pans. The villa sits around 10 km from Marsala, where historic streets are lined with shops, restaurants and wineries, making it easy to combine relaxed days at the villa with time exploring one of this part of Sicily’s best - known towns. The surrounding coastline is particularly popular for kitesurfing, with a kitesurfing spot around 3 km away, while the nearest beach is approximately 8 km from the property.

The Stagnone area is also the departure point for trips to the island of Mozia, an important archaeological site set within the lagoon. Further afield, Trapani and the hilltop town of Erice are around 20 km away, while Segesta is also within easy reach by car. Longer day trips can take guests to the beaches of San Vito Lo Capo, the scenery around Scopello and the Zingaro Nature Reserve, or the archaeological remains at Selinunte. Trapani Airport is particularly convenient at approximately 5 km away, with Palermo Airport around 90 km from Villa Domizzia.
