Set among rolling vineyards and olive groves between Florence and Siena, Villa Colli Senesi offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Approached through an automatic gate, the villa reveals a manicured garden and a private swimming pool positioned to take full advantage of the surrounding hilltop views. 

The property is divided into two independent apartments, making it ideal for extended families or groups of friends travelling together. Each apartment has its own entrance, kitchen and living spaces, allowing guests to share their holiday while enjoying privacy when desired. Recently renovated, the interiors combine clean, modern finishes with warm touches such as decorative fireplaces and soft neutral tones. Two fully equipped kitchens, two dining rooms and spacious lounges ensure there is plenty of room for gathering, while six double bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation across the upper floors.  

Outside, the rectangular swimming pool sits in a panoramic position, bordered by a paved solarium with sunbeds, deckchairs and an outdoor shower. Two furnished porches at the entrances to each apartment invite long breakfasts in the shade or relaxed evening meals beside the built-in barbecue. The garden, filled with flowers and neat lawn, creates a pleasant setting for unhurried days under the Tuscan sun.

Villa Colli Senesi is located near Poggibonsi in the Upper Elsa Valley, a strategic and picturesque corner of Tuscany positioned between Florence and Siena. The surrounding landscape is characterised by undulating hills, vineyards and olive groves, with quiet country roads that wind through Chianti’s celebrated wine territory.

Just 5 kilometres away, Poggibonsi offers supermarkets, local shops, cafés, tennis courts and both train and bus connections, making it convenient for exploring the wider region without needing to drive into city centres. The historic heart of the town sits on a hilltop and provides an authentic glimpse into daily Tuscan life, away from the larger tourist crowds. 

The villa is ideally placed for discovering some of Tuscany’s most iconic destinations. San Gimignano, famed for its medieval towers, is around 16 kilometres away, while Siena’s magnificent Piazza del Campo and Gothic cathedral can be reached in under an hour. Florence, with its Renaissance masterpieces, is approximately 50 kilometres away and easily accessible for a day trip. Volterra, Monteriggioni and the Chianti villages of Greve and Panzano are also within comfortable driving distance.

Closer to home, guests can enjoy horse riding in Ulignano or Staggia, a round of golf near Colle Val d’Elsa, or wine tastings at nearby farms producing Chianti Classico DOP wines and extra virgin olive oil. The Via Francigena passes through the area, offering scenic walking routes for those keen to explore on foot.
