The ground floor opens onto a spacious living area, where a modern open-plan kitchen and charming dining space offer an inviting hub for relaxed socialising. Doors lead out to the walled garden with a pretty pergola, shady trees and terrace for al-fresco dining by the plancha. Wander to the end of the garden to discover the gated swimming pool, a wonderful addition to this village house.

Upstairs, five thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, three with air-conditioning, comfortably sleep up to ten guests. The first-floor master bedroom has its own dressing area and en suite shower room whilst the other four bedrooms (two on each floor) share two bathrooms. There’s an air of charm and simplicity across the bedrooms with features such as painted wood beams, tiled flooring and pretty windows whilst the bathrooms are fresh and modern.

Mouriès itself is a jewel in the Alpilles crown, relaxing yet vibrant, known for its olive oil traditions and Provençal authenticity. Stroll to the village square for your morning coffee, explore the weekly market, or set off for a round of golf at nearby Servanes. The house is also ideally located for exploring the region’s most treasured sights, from the hilltop village of Les Baux-de-Provence to the artistic streets of Saint-Rémy and the Roman heritage of Arles.
