The villa

Villa Aspa is a contemporary villa located in the village of Havgas near Elounda, offering views towards the sea and Spinalonga Island. Positioned just a short drive from the island of Spinalonga and the traditional village of Plaka, the property provides a peaceful base for exploring this part of Crete.

The villa features a 235 sqm interior arranged on a single level, designed around an open-plan living space. This central area includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a spacious living room with seating for up to ten guests. Large windows throughout the space frame the surrounding sea views and create a bright, airy atmosphere.

There are four bedrooms in total, each with its own bathroom with a shower. Three bedrooms are furnished with double beds and include en-suite facilities, while the fourth bedroom features two single beds. All bedrooms have large windows and direct access to the outdoor area and the infinity pool.

Outside, a 50 sqm terrace provides space for relaxation and outdoor dining. The terrace is equipped with sun loungers, a shaded dining area, and a BBQ, with views stretching across the sea and towards Spinalonga Island. The infinity pool can be heated to a maximum temperature of 26°C. The villa is surrounded by landscaped gardens and offers parking for up to three cars.

The coastal area of Elounda, on the northeastern side of Crete, is a well-known destination overlooking Mirabello Bay. Once a small fishing village, Elounda has developed into a relaxed resort area while maintaining a traditional feel. The waterfront is lined with tavernas, cafés, and small shops, and the calm waters of the bay make it a popular spot for swimming and boat trips. The area is also known for its views across to the nearby island of Spinalonga.

Elounda provides convenient access to several attractions in eastern Crete. The nearby town of Agios Nikolaos offers additional restaurants, shops, and a picturesque harbour centred around Lake Voulismeni. Visitors can also take boat excursions from Elounda to Spinalonga, a historic island known for its Venetian fortifications and later history as a leper colony. With its coastal setting and easy access to nearby towns and sites, Elounda is a convenient base for exploring this part of Crete.
