Air - conditioned throughout, there are four beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with large double beds, TVs and en suites. The master double also has its own dressing area and private terrace whilst the lower floor quad bedroom offers flexible bed configuration and two separate bathrooms.

Outdoors, long summer days stretch effortlessly between dips in the pool, long lunches in the shaded dining area and games of pétanque in the warm Corsican breeze. A barbecue, plancha and stone grill invite you to linger over local produce, while stylish loungers and soft cushions call for lazy afternoons in the sun. For added ease, thoughtful touches await your arrival such as local products, wine and coffee capsules, whilst breakfast basket delivery and additional cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost. 

Villa Alta Mare sits in a picturesque corner of southern Corsica, just 15 minutes from Figari Airport and within reach of Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio. Its setting feels wonderfully remote, yet essentials are close at hand in a nearby village just 4.5km away. Located in southern Corsica’s unspoilt Figari region, Villa Alta Mare enjoys an idyllic setting on a picturesque estate shared with Villa Big Blue . Surrounded by umbrella pines and fragrant maquis, this is a place where nature takes centre stage. Just a short 15 - minute drive from Figari Airport, the villa offers effortless access while remaining blissfully removed from the island’s busier hubs. From here, soak in Corsica’s raw beauty, whether through quiet coastal walks or lazy days by the sea.

A sandy beach lies just a ten - minute walk down the hillside via dusty trail and road (you can also drive part of the way, but it’s mainly via unmade tracks so most locals park up and walk). Here, you’ll find clear waters perfect for swimming, snorkelling by the rocks or simply basking in the sun on the narrow stretch of sand (pack your parasol!). The Figari coastline is dotted with similarly secluded stretches of coast, including the stunning Plage de Roccapina (20km) and Plage de la Tonnara (16.5km), each promising a slice of coastal heaven and usually less busier compared to the Porto Vecchio coastline.

For everyday essentials and a taste of local life, the nearby village (4.5km) offers two well - stocked supermarkets and a couple of places to eat. Yet the wider region is rich with opportunities for discovery. Bonifacio (24km), perched dramatically on limestone cliffs, is a must - see with its medieval citadel, harbour cafés and boat trips to the idyllic Lavezzi Isles. Venture further to Porto Vecchio (32km) for vibrant summer vibes and the famed beaches of Palombaggia and Santa Giulia (best enjoyed outside peak season for a less crowded experience).

For a glimpse into the island’s soul, head inland to Sartène (37km), one of Corsica’s most atmospheric towns. Here, time seems to stand still amidst cobbled lanes, ancient stone houses and excellent local vineyards.
