The villa

Beautiful Villa Algarvia is a traditional Portuguese villa set on the outskirts of Quinta do Lago. Located on a gentle hillside, Villa Algarvia offers absolute luxury and relaxation for guests looking to escape to the Algarve.

When you arrive at the villa, you’ll notice the striking figure that it casts over neighbouring properties. A spacious courtyard to the front of the house provides safe and secure parking for guest vehicles.

Inside, Villa Algarvia has a spacious entrance that leads into the living room and communal areas of the villa. Your living room has lots of sitting space with comfortable chairs and sofas, and decor that blends traditional and contemporary design. The living room centres around a large flat-screen TV with international channels and a cosy fireplace. To the rear of the room, large windows and doors open up onto the garden terrace while providing natural sunlight to the room.

Adjacent to the living room, a charming dining room has space for up to eight people around the table and also has a separate patio door that leads into the garden. Your kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve delicious meals for your fellow guests.

A separate utility room contains laundry facilities, that you’re free to use should you need it, with a washing machine and clothes dryer.

For your sleeping arrangements, there are five bedrooms spread across the property’s three levels. On the ground floor, two bedrooms have twin beds that can be pushed together to form doubles and private en-suite bathrooms. Upstairs, two large double bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms and access to their own terraces which overlook the surrounding landscape. The fifth bedroom is located on the lower level of the villa with twin beds and a private en-suite bathroom.

In the outdoor area, additional seating is provided for al fresco dining along with a barbecue which is yours to use whenever you like. Your private swimming pool is located in the garden, with a surrounding sun terrace and comfortable sun loungers for your comfort.

The garden is surrounded by mature plants and trees which provide shade and privacy to residents.

Villa Algarvia sits on the edge of Quinta do Lago, a quiet seaside destination popular amongst golfers as there are two spectacular golf courses just a short drive away from the property; Quinta do Lago and San Lorenzo.

Villa Algarvia benefits from being close enough to amenities and activities around the golf club to stay involved but far enough back to be quiet and relaxed. In the surrounding area you’ll easily find grocery stores, bars and restaurants, though we do recommend renting a car for your stay to make getting around as easy as possible.

Getting to Villa Algarvia to start your break is really easy as the area is well-connected to local and national roads. Villa Algarvia is a popular choice amongst families as the short 15-minute commute from Faro Airport is easy to visit with children.

Several beautiful gold-sand beaches are located just a short drive away with Praia da Quinta do Lago being the closest. If Praia da Quinta do Lago isn’t to your liking, there are several other beaches located along the miles-long stretch of sand.

If you want to explore the wider region during your stay, Faro city is just 15 minutes away with lots of interesting historic sites to visit as well as excellent shopping and dining opportunities. To the east of the villa, the resort town of Quarteira is also just 15 minutes away by car.
