The setting feels secluded and relaxing, even during harvest time (as you are surrounded by a working vineyard), yet it is also well connected, only 450m from the main road leading to the picturesque village of Violès (2.3km) where you will find a very good bakery, bistro and pharmacy. Closer to home, you can walk to the wine château (who own the surrounding vines) for wine - tasting and even cheese pairing (book ahead).

When it comes to dining, you’ll find everything from Michelin - starred restaurants in Gigondas (8km), Vaison - la - Romaine (18km) and Châteauneuf - du - Pape (18km), to authentic family - run spots with set menus from just €25 in charming settings like Séguret (11km), one of France’s ‘ Plus Beaux Villages ’. Dozens of wineries in the surrounding villages - including Vacqueyras, Beaumes - de - Venise and Gigondas - welcome visitors for tastings and vineyard tours.
