Stroll the harbour, browse the night market or dine by the sea. Just 10 minutes away, Fréjus offers a rich Roman heritage, with its still-visible aqueduct and amphitheatre. Further afield, explore the vineyards of Lorgues, the perfumed streets of Grasse or even the glitzy allure of Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Antibes.

Today, visitors can explore the town’s medieval heart, Roman amphitheatre and Gothic cathedral before enjoying a long lunch at a shaded terrace café.

Down the coast, Saint-Raphaël (12km) delights with golden beaches, a lively harbour, waterfront restaurants, a seafront casino and boat trips exploring the surrounding bays.
