The villa

Each of the four bedrooms features air-conditioning.

With its cobbled lanes, shaded cafés and excellent restaurants, it offers a taste of authentic Provence. The vineyards of Val D’Iris and Château de Selves are an energetic stroll away, while the glamorous shores of Cannes and the Côte d’Azur lie less than 60 minutes south. Day trips to Lac de Saint-Cassien, Grasse’s perfume houses or the markets of Fayence complete the picture of a richly rewarding escape.

In the unspoilt Var countryside , La Haute Bastié offers a stunning escape just 4.5km from the enchanting village of Seillans, proudly recognised as one of France’s “ Plus Beaux Villages ”, and less than an hour from Nice Airport (67km).

A long walk or short drive from the villa brings you to three excellent vineyards - Le Domaine de Val d’Iris (3km), Château de Selves (2.5km) and Le Domaine de Meaulx (3.5km) - where you can sample crisp whites and full-bodied reds in tranquil surroundings.

Perched on a gentle hillside, Seillans (4.5km) charms with its cobbled lanes, colourful shutters, and captivating views across olive groves and vineyards. Here you’ll find a delightful selection of restaurants, cafés, galleries and local shops - all wrapped in a typically Provençal atmosphere.

The neighbouring village of Fayence (10km) lies just 15 minutes away, offering further amenities and a thriving weekly market. This is one of several pretty hamlets scattered throughout the Pays de Fayence, each with its own character, from the quiet charm of Callian (15km) to the medieval heart of Tourrettes (10km).
