The villa

Casa Gigantes is an incredible luxury stay in the urbanisation of Punta de la Mona, Costa Tropical. The cliffside home stands tall above the bay and boasts incredible views and private amenities.

There are seven bedrooms in this property, and it can sleep up to 14 guests. Four of the bedrooms are on the same level as the swimming pool, with Three more upstairs on the ground floor. The main bedroom boasts both a double bed and an en - suite bathroom, perfect for a little extra privacy. The other bedrooms can be either twin beds or doubles, depending on your group's desired sleeping arrangements.

The bathrooms are incredibly sleek, with the cool - toned colour schemes encouraging a refreshing start to each day. Casa Gigantes has a total of 8 bathrooms, one for each bedroom and a guest toilet, meaning there won't be queues in the mornings. It shan't be long before you're out in Punta de la Mona and enjoying all that the area has to offer

The living area is perfect for socialising, with large comfy sofas and armchairs arranged around a real fireplace, in the perfect layout to encourage conversation or enjoying the large television in the corner. The area is perfectly lit by large French doors that line the walls, with the natural lighting complimenting the area well. Outside these doors, you will find an outdoor seating area, perfect for moving socialisation closer to the sea breeze from below.

The kitchen in the home looks straight out of a magazine, with sleek stainless - steel appliances fitted to perfectly match the cool black and white colour scheme of the furnishing. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, and you'll feel like a professional chef when you're doing it. What's more, Casa Gigantes also has an included outdoor kitchen area which features a grill perfect for cooking up fresh fish and vegetables and two large dining tables for dining al - fresco.

One of Casa Gigantes' most incredible features is its outside private amenities, available right on the property. Stepping out of the house into the perfectly manicured garden, guests will see the glistening private pool. The cool water is inviting enough on its own, but the experience is topped off as it overlooks the incredible bay below. To the side of the property, you will find another gem: a private jacuzzi. This is a rare treat and a true luxury; imagine laughing with friends as you enjoy the bubbles with champagne and look out over the cliffside. The luxury continues as Casa Gigantes also has a sauna for your personal use. The sauna is right on the edge of the property, with a glass wall allowing you to take in the breathtaking view as you let your muscles completely relax.

Should you wish to leave the luxury of the villa, Casa Gigantes is only 1km from La Herradura beach and has an abundance of bars, restaurants, and shops.

Casa Gigantes is perched tall on the cliffside, providing unobstructed and breathtakingly beautiful views of the bay. La Herradura, the local seaside town, has absolutely everything you need to accent your stay and make it simply wonderful. It has been called the most picturesque of Costa Tropical's seaside villages, and simply looking around at the gorgeous cliffs, bay, and nature will show you exactly. The beach of la Herradura is less than 1km away from the villa, so warm sand is close at hand during your stay.

The area has an abundance of beautiful nature on offer, and as such, there are many different hiking areas and walking paths available for you to explore during your stay. One such route is along the Maro Cerro Gordo cliffs, a nature reserve home to an outstanding area of flora and fauna. Take a day to explore it, and perhaps even pack a picnic to stop and enjoy along the way as you overlook the ocean below.

The town centre, just 1.7km away, has a whole range of restaurants along its route, all offering a range of food for everyone to enjoy; tuck into local delicacies recommended by the waiters or choose something more recognisable to dig into. Enjoy wonderfully crafted cocktails that perfectly complement the sea breeze, or sip on tropical juices to cool you down from the warm sun.

History buffs, in particular, will delight in the rich history of La Herradura, as the bay was once a strategic port for both the Phoenicians and the Romans. Visit La Herradura Castle on the Western End of the town, an 18th Century monument built during Carlos III's reign. A little off the beaten path, this is just one of the area's incredible historical gems.

Head West to Marina Del Este to take part in some sailing on the calm waters of the ocean, or sign up for diving lessons and explore the depths of the ocean. If you fancy staying dry and on steady land, you can still stroll along the marina's edge and pop into one of the many waterfront restaurants and bars. Tuck into fresh fish cooked perfectly and listen to the sound of the ocean and the relaxing hum of the local area.
